Thank You for a Wonderful Serb Fest 2026
What a weekend. This year's Annual Serb Fest filled the Cathedral grounds with food, music, and the warmth of Serbian hospitality, and we are grateful to everyone who came to share it with us.
Saturday began with the Divine Liturgy, celebrated on the commemoration of the Holy New Martyrs of the Metropolitanate of Dabar-Bosnia and Saint Budimir Sokolović, the priest-martyr of Dobrun (1910–1945). We were honored to welcome Parma Mayor Tim DeGeeter to the festival grounds. Fr. Dragan Vuković gave him a tour of the church and the parish hall, and the Mayor joined us in sampling the food. Fr. Dragan also presented him with a copy of The Serbian Christian Heritage of America: The Historical, Spiritual and Cultural Presence of the Serbian Diaspora in North America (1815–2019) and an icon of the Theotokos.
A festival like this does not happen on its own. To our sponsors, whose generosity made the weekend possible, thank you. To our volunteers, who cooked, served, poured, cleaned, danced, and gave up two summer days to welcome others, thank you. And to our community and every guest who joined us, whether you have been coming for years or found us for the first time, thank you for making it what it was.
